Hi all ,bit of help needed . Have phone about a year ,had changed 0000 security code to a personal code and no probs with that code . Phone lost last week so got vfone to kill the sim and lock the phone . Phone found this week ,got new sim and vfone unlocked phone .
Problem now is security code wont work and 0000 not working either . I contacted vfone but they say nothing they did would cause this issue and it must be a phone fault . Any help appreciated.

the security code would be one you have set or the default one. vodafone couldnt have done anything to this remotely.

    have you tried 12345?
sometimes if you put the wrong code in too many times it will also say all other attempts are incorrect, even if the right code is entered, for a while.

Have you put the old sim card back in, and powered up?
Or powered up in offline mode with sim out?

0000 cant be the code, as it must be a minimum of 5 digits for the access codes, it wont allow you to set a 4 digit code.

Vodafone have the Puk and Nac codes, not the security code. The security code has nothing to do with the sim, except if you put another sim into the phone it will ask for it, ONLY if you set it up to do so. IIRC the 6303i doesn't have that function though

Just to clarify the original code was 12345 but i put 0000 in the op in error . Anyway left it for a few hours and tried 12345 and it worked so happy days ! Dont understand why it reverted to the original code but its sorted so thanks all, help appreciated .
