Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Residential Management Company

Own an apartment in Manchester for 4yrs and the current directors (the building property developers and selling agents) of the Residential Management Company (set up as a limited company) want to release to the owners.

While I know this is common enough, I (along with some fellow Irish owners) am considering applying to be one of the new Directors of the RMC.

    - Does anyone have advice of what one is getting in to here?
    - Is there a min number of directors needed in UK law (2 directors min needed in Ireland)?
    - Will want to sell property as soon as there is some return so will eventually resign from RMC. Is there any issue with leaving the company?

Finally, we want to get rid of the services company. Costs per annum are £1300, what are others paying? Understand that this is location dependant but want to get a feel.

OP, it sounds like you're seeking legal advice here & really should consult a professional in that area to get sound advice.
