S.I. No. 307 of 2009 Firearms (Secure Accommodation) Regulations 2009, accessible on www.garda.ie.

but i cannot find anything on garda.ie about it, can anybody help?

I've a question that sort of relates to this, how does mixing restricted/unrestricted work security wise?

For example if someone was on the second security level and had 2 unrestricted firearms, if they wanted to licence a restricted one they would presumably be up to level 3 then?

You're up to that level with ONE un-restricted firearm regardless of what else you have. Even if it's your only one!
