Best chance we have all season to
    Put a dent in
    Man city's goal diff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,107 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Its a definite second yellow and the ref did his job right. Don't make it out to be something its not

There was no malice in it though, it was a stupid tackle, i just though he could have given him the benefit of the doubt and not ruined the game.

Get 4 or 5 today and that goal difference will look a lot healthier. Good to see United getting down to business so early today

Can hardly complain after getting the benefit already after the tackle on Rooney earlier, lucky that was only a yellow then and obviously learnt nowt from it

Answer this, if he wasn't on a yellow would you have given him a yellow?

It doesn't matter it was a stupid tackle, mistimed and worthy of a yellow. It just happened to be his second yellow.

Really good chance for United to close the gap in goal difference here.

Well there goes my hunch about Wolves surprising United today. :D

Incidentally, I did some research; And agricultural challenge is called so because like farm machinery it is heavy, crude and clumsy. And the term did originate on Football Focus.

His warning was his first yellow card, which was also deserved. If he was hoping for benefit of the doubt, he shouldn't have slid in for such a stupid challenge that really gave the ref no choice but to send him off. In short, GTFO.

The market on United winning 8,9 and 10-0 are back open after being suspended.

    Only 14-1 for 7-0.

I like to think the refs these days show a bit of descrection when the players have already been booked, it was stupid, ya he probaly deserved to go.

The ref didn't ruin the game,he is doing his job. Deserved yellow. Anybody to blame it is Zubar himself

So happy to have Valencia back, he's absolutely immense.

Would like to see Young on for Chico, and if we score another bring Le Pog on.

Disagree, Chico needs confidence and that needs to be boosted with a goal. I'd leave him on especially when it looks like becoming a goalfest for United.

100% agree. If Chico gets a goal today it will do wonders for him. After about 65 mins take Sat Nav off and bring on Le Pog

If Evans keep placing passes like that, it will be more Jonny Evansbauer than plan old Jonny Evans.

Any chance of telling me what's happened so far. In the middle of no where working just from painfully slow 3G connection.

Wolves looked dangerous, Evans then scored. Zubar then got booked twice so off he went, and United got two decent goals then.

United 3 up, Johnny Evans with the first from a corner.
Zubar sent off for a second yellow card offence on Wellbeck.
Valencia speeds down the right wing and rifles one in to make it 2 up.
Then Wellbeck latches on to a Valencia cross to make it 3.
