Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm after taking 25 acres long term lease. Part of the deal is i have to reseed the ground. currently redwater on it. ive a lad sorted to do everthing from plough to spreading lime even closing the gate behind him. now usually round here reseeding would be april but with the weather and ground i am thinking of doing it now. it will be for grazing and maybe taking an odd cut off it. i priced the seed last week and the most suitable aparently for around here is a three seed mix. only issue is the stuff is costing 68 plus vat per acre (mental compared to last year). anyone know of anywhere a little more reasonable. reseeding costing 150 plus vat for all machine work. hows that comparing round you lads?

There is no VAT on grass seed, unless something changed in the budget that I have heard nothing about.

I have seed ordered costing €45 a bag, dont ask, my animals wont be eating it;), but decent seed is costing €65 for 12.5kgs this year. Its only a small price to pay for good seed so buy the best. In fact its only making up 25% of the price of the job
