Re recomend a setup for iMac

Folks, can anyone recommend a setup for my iMac as I have all my music stored via iTunes
My current separates system is 20 years old and am looking for something that will play my music via iTunes on the iMac.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
I have about 500eur to spend

Get an Apple airport express, connect it to the Aux-input of your system and stream music from the iMac/iTunes to it.

You could try one of these babies http://www.amazon.co.uk/One-SV1740-Home-Audio-System/dp/B000OKJ57A (should be able to find it online with a bit of digging) as an alternative to the Airport Express if you're not going to be outputting to a DAC. The sound quality on these is fantastic given their price point (about €40 when I got mine a year or so ago) & I've seen favourable comparisons with the standard sound (ie: not digital out to DAC) of the Airport Express, which costs substantially more. They're incredibly easy to set up & work with all the programs on your computer, not just Itunes, so you have more flexibility than with the Express (though I understand there's various hacks you can do to solve that issue with the latter).

which looks pretty nice & high quality. Haven't personally heard it but Arcam tend to be a very good brand so don't think you could go too wrong with it.
