Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Scallops in Offaly?

    Hi, does anyone know of anywhere i can get scallops in birr,tullamore etc..?I have tried a few places but cant get them.

    There is a fishmonger in a trailer at the square Tullamore (opposite post office) every Thursday who sells lots of fresh fish, he does a huge trade long ques some days. I'd reckon he would be your best bet.

    "Bates of Kilmore Quay" have a fish shop on High St in Tullamore. Fantastic fresh fish.

    +1 was in there about two weeks ago and they definitely had scallops then.

    I noticed a fish van selling fish at the old Texas carpark opposite Pauls fruit and veg on Friday morning I think. I didn't have time to peruse or even note the name on the side of the van.
