Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How to complete the look when wearing teal?

Not sure if this belongs here or Beauty but I have recently bought a silk dress - a pale purple/silver from Monsoon with teal and brown flowers and I teamed it with teal bag, sandle type shoes, hairband and shrug - can anyone tell me what colours should I wear eyeshadow and nail polish wise? I think I already went a bit overboard with the teal so don't want to go down that route plus it's for a wedding as a guest.
I have long medium brown hair, grey but small eyes and sallow skin.

    Thanks in advance :)

I've never been a fan of matching makeup to clothes, so I would just wear what suits my skin tone. Perhaps add a little teal blue eyeliner, but I certainly wouldn't go overboard. The same with nails, when it all matches it looks old fashioned IMO. Why not wear brown nailpolish in the same tone as the brown in the dress, dark nails are fab, and very in fashion right now.

Nude/soft brown eye makeup would be what I would go with, I normally do a very light close to skin coloured eye shadow with brown liquid liner, I add a little bit darker brown eye shadow when I want to make my grey eyes look bluer.

That's pretty much what I'm asking- thanks for the advice :) - I don't want to go the matchy matchy teal make up look as I think I've enough in the accessories (and although they sound like a lot- they look just the right amount of colour as the dress itself stands out on it's own) but I don't want to end up with nails and make up that doesn't compliment the look.
The brown nails sound like a great idea - I'll definitely go with that!
