He passed away suddenly a couple of months ago. RIP.
Try north west grass machines in Rathcormack or KG supplies in Quay St.

Not sure where you are located but there is a guy doing this in Tubbercurry. He has taken over the tool hire shop there. I recently had my lawn mower and chainsaw serviced there and was really happy with both afterwards.

Do you need it servicing, or will it just not start?

Did you try changing the petrol? A likely cause of petrol mowers not starting after a long lay off.

I went through the whole service routine with my mower this week when it wouldnt start.

Last thing I did was to change the petrol and doh! started first time....

If there is not too much in it, fill it up with fresh petrol.

If theres a lot in it, drain it by disconnecting the tube connected to the petrol tank.

Theres a few good videos on You Tube. Prb save you a few quid and you can service your machine thereafter....

That guy down JFK was about the best of them, he always had a story of some sort to tell you when you called in, RIP Paddy.

  • Hi All,

Anyone current recommendations for Petrol engine lawnmower servicing?

There was a Polish guy down at JFK last year. Is he still there?
