Formal programming exams?

I'm in the process of learning a couple of programming languages as a bit of a hobby and also to make myself more employable.

Is there any kind of formal C, C++, Java etc. exams that I can say that I've passed when I'm writing my CV?

It's all very well to say I've experience, but it'd be nice to have a qualification to back it up.

Not sure about C or C++, however Java have a certification exam which you can take. See here for the programmer exam info:

Ha, I will (hopefully) have passed them. It's just for interviews so if the interviewer asks 'what experience do you have in xxxx?' I can say 'well, I have such and such a qualification and so and so experience'.

I'm learning C as part of an engineering course, but I'm trying my hand at java and C++ too.
