    i was told to do one of these out. I only really need a processor. Im hoping to run windows 7 and install a 500gb hard drive.
    my motherboard is a Biostar H61MLV (SK1155) ATX with Snd & Lan Motherboard the socket is a 1155

    1. What is your budget? 250
    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes/No] No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? yes i have a case, psu monitor,mouse, speakers,motherboard and ram.

    5. Do you need a monitor? [Yes/No]
    no
    5a. If yes, what size do you need. [19'/20'/22'/24'/etc.]

    5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080/1440x900/etc.] 1920x1080

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.] no

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes/No] no

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser] All

    9. When are you purchasing? [In x days] 5 days

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? [South Dublin City/Cork City/Kerry/etc.] i wont need anyhelp thanks

    If you want best CPU for that mobo then i5 2400 is the way to go. You can't overclock with your mobo so getting i5 2500k is useless.

    You can get one of these on:

    Komplett.ie
    Dabs.ie

    Those 3 will be the best places to look in to.

    You got one more option: this is a gaming build and gpu plays bigger role then CPU. I would suggest getting i3 2120 for around 100eu and then put the rest of the money in to gpu budget. This way you will maximise your performance per euro.
