Changing Subnet of LAN on UPC cable Modem

    Hi,
    I have a Cisco EPC2425 cable modem from UPC. I want to change the subnet mask from 255.255.255.0 to 255.255.252.0. The webui of the modem does not allow me to do this . I called UPC tech support and they did not have a clue and passed me on to premium support who did not have a clue too. They claim that the advanced options tab is available to Cisco customer support reps. I think that is a load of BS. Does anyone here know how to change the subnet mask ?
