I've had a Canon MP 560 for over a year now and I can't fault it.

I use it a lot and compatible cartridges can be got on Ebay for €4 each and can be bought individually and are every bit as good as the originals.

Not sure about the printer prices though but I'm very happy with this one.

I'm in Donegal so I bought it in Currys in Derry think it cost around £130 back then but I'm sure it should be possible to buy it online.
Amazon have it for £129.99 but I don't think they'll ship here.

    Thanks for the reply pbarr,
That printer looks real nice. I did some reading last night on printers and canons seem to be hard to beat! I would print rarely so I'm not sure if I would be better getting a laser (as inkjects can clog i think if not used too often). Yeah, amazon ship alot of things alright but that canon isn't n the list, i'll maybe find one that is. Cheers for the info! :)

There's a Samsung printer available in argos at the moment, bought it two weeks ago, can't remember model but its amazing, I checked all the reviews first online before I bought it. I have had a wireless dell printer and wireless Epson all in one in the past and found them to be very frustrating to use and flimsy build quality. This Samsung is fantastic, highly recommended.

Yeah yeah that's the one I got! I had to buy it straight away as I needed it that day. It's a fine printer. Just one thing to note, sometimes when u print and watch the roller a little bit of ink dust can be seen coming from the printer, first time I noticed it I thought it was a bit odd but checked.online and its normal, I recommend u place printer away from your face and.maybe even beside a window. Also u can pick up ink for it pretty cheap on eBay.

Cool, I think it should be arriving tomorrow. We actually got a little server in the lobby that im gonna plug it into - that will also make it a network printer since its usb only.:)
yeah I was surprised to read about the bad health effects that alot of laser printers have. some can be as bad as smoking! lucky no one can fit in our lobby only to pick the printed stuff- i was gonna keep it in my room before i knew the server can take it:p
here is some links from another thread i read about health effects, i didnt really read too much but you get the idea.
