For those not getting the extra space. Click on the Getting Started link in the email, and take the tour if you have not done so already!

Not sure if this is related or anything, but I did this back when it was posted, got the 23gb just signed into dropbox again on my Sensation after updating onto ICS, and instantly got an e-mailing saying they were giving me 3 more gb for a year!

You could try in a ticket Diren, however, I'm not sure what stance they will take. On other tickets I have seen that when Dropbox (notice when, not if) have discovered this hack they have revoked all of a persons bonus space not just the 23gb here (and rightly so!!)

Guys before this was announced I used this to get an extra 8gb via referrals: http://fiverr.com/vatrik/expand-your-dropbox-account-to-10gb - it costs $5 but he delivered as promised in a few days. This is real space that won't go away, and at €3.80 it's very good value

It's says up to 10GB. If you had 10GB would it get you up to 18GB? Or is it only for beginners 2GB accounts?

They're increasing the space given for referrals from 250 MB to 500 MB - and sound lads that they are they're applying the increase retroactively.

So if you've had a few completed referrals you might be seeing the bump from that.

Also, my phone has been behaving oddly since installing this. No doubt there were other things included in that .apk >:( And no doubt it gleaned all our account passwords as well!
