    i would be a bit sceptical regarding all the branding involved, im not too well up on hip hop etc but i think dr dre is a producer so they are trading on his name like the fashion for his headphones at present, so best is to listen to some products yourself , the b&w zeppelin is supposed to be brilliant in the type of unit you are looking for

    They are loud and boomy , like all the Dr Dre products.

    You wont find their headphones reviewed on Head fi or any audiophile site, because they deliberately over accentuate the bass , this unit does the same thing.

    With kids today , branding and loudness , especially bass level loudness , is all that matters , these things have a "cool" brand and are indeed loud , but the sound quality itself sucks.
