Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iPhone 4s - Home Button not working

    Hi All,

Quick question, the home button on my phone has stopped working. Completely non responsive.

Tried lots of suggested fixes like compressed air, reboot, reset, restore, opening a stock app, holding the sleep button until the power off comes up and then holding it down until it goes back to the home screen (never goes back to the home screen)

I've arranged for Apple to take a look for me (sending it off tomorrow).

However, I've just notice the liquid contact indicator (LCI) in the dock connector is red. I believe this is a false positive because it has not been dropped in water or come into contact with a lot of water. The headphone jack LCI is white.

Do you reckon apple with take one look at it and tell me its due to water damage and to clear off because the warranty is now void?

It genuinely has not been water damaged. Looking online, I've read that Apple are softening their stance a little and at least opening the phone to check the internal LCI for a better idea if it has been water damaged, due to the possibility of false positives.

    Worth a go with them.

Don't forget you can use a virtual homebutton turned on in the settings (accessibility) options.
