Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My work is looking to get an ipad. However we don't have wifi and i'm not sure if they would fund the ongoing cost of mobile broadband. There are just some specific apps that we would need that wouldn't reqiure internet connection to use once installed. My questions is, can i connect the ipad to the pc (which has internet connection)and download the apps through the store without having an internet connection working on the ipad? I think 'yes', but just want to double check.

    Yep 100%,

You'd install itunes on the computer,
    download the apps,
connect the ipad and sync away.

Though some apps require an internet connection based on their functionality

If you have wired internet for the computer you could buy a wireless access point cheaply enough to share that connection rather than shell out for mobile broadband; but yes you can download the apps on the computer and transfer them via itunes over the sync cable.
