Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

price of grass seeds

    was in the merchants today and over heard a man at the counter askin bout the price of grass seeds a normal cheap mix which was 42 euro last year is 80 euro this year ,guy was saying grass seed is very scarce this year and cant b got

    quoted 68 for a three seed mix last week. 48 for same mix last year.

    Yep E73 for run of the mill NCF seed = Silly money IMO

    I heard this last year that grass seed was going through the roof this year as there was a seed failure in Swizterland I think. in Kerry co-op top 5 Extend is 75 euro it was only 50-55 last year i think. They never do the free bag when you buy 5 on this it only on there Bog standard mix.

    The merchants may be trying it on a bit as well

    My €45 per 12kg bag of grass seed arrived yesterday, didnt study the varieties as they are for a special job:D

    I Find Agriteck A4 Mix very good, Suitable for Heavy Ground.As Regards the Price of Grass Seed Going up, The Fact that every dog on the Street now Knows that Farming is going well again, I Think thats the Reason for the Price Increase.. They all Want a bigger Slice of the Cake!:pac:
