i noticed today i no longer have access to it (myhome.iol.ie/~username). it was
active only a few weeks back. it was quite handy sometimes and nice and
fast if you are connected though vodafone.

anyone else aware of this?

Vodafone dont own iol.ie. It still belongs to BT.

As far as I know it is only available to BT customers although it was still available to customers after the migration to Vodafone.

Same here, just tried and its gone, it was working for me up to a few weeks ago and now I just "connection closed by remote host" after a successful login. tried entering an incorrect password and it knew it was wrong so the authetication is still working
