    Hi,

Just looking for some advise I have an undergrad in economics, masters in finance and qualified ACA. I am currently working as an accountant but I would ultimately love to return to the economics end of things and I have been thinking about going back and doing a PHD as I would love to go into academia.

Would anyone know if I would have to do a Masters in Economics before applying for the PHD? Micro or Labour economics would be the area of specialisation I would be looking to move in to.

    Thanks

What kind of undergraduate grades do you have? What kind of masters grades have you?
Its not beyond the realms of possibility for you to get into an Economics PhD with good grades in these courses
