If that hasn't already happened by now, I've been poked, proded and perforated by more needles in the past year than I have in the rest of my lifetime. Monthly injections, regular bloodtests, and an ever-growing urge to fit as much metal on my face as possible. :pac:

Today's the last day when I hand up my work and do my last test before the beers / Easter so I'm happy As with G_F, I realised over the past while that my problems pale in comparison with some people so I'm going to complain less

The bridge piercing is something I was looking at getting anyway, you could get some custom glasses to attatch at a later date

I had my eyebrow done twice and it rejected both times, so I'm not sure about the viability of any major piercing like that.

I've heard the eyebrows tend to reject a lot more than other piercings, so getting it done elsewhere might be different for you Shim

Btw, if anyone is near the top garage on ushers quay, they're doing an offer. Petrol/Diesel for 99c/litre. For an hour at 2pm. It'll be bedlam, so if you want some get down just before 2. And you might see me handing out chips and stuff if you're there :P

I've had my nose and lip pierced. The nose piercing had to go cos every time I blew my nose it was awkward. The lip one went cos it made my gums receed.

I've got a vertical labret for my lip piercing:



not only is it super pretty, but 'cos it's a curved bar that goes up through the lip, there's nothing on the inside of the mouth either, so there's no risk of it damaging the gums or teeth. really love mine

I know it's a pity. Got my lip done when I was 25. Held the clamp and all. I squeezed as hard as I could on it Weird but good feeling

i have had my eyebrow done since i was 15 and it hasn't moved an inch. but i know a lot of people who's eyebrow piercings migrated

All my piercings keep falling out without me noticing so they close, and I can't be affording to reopen them all atm :-(

gah that drives me bonkers. and then, when i started college last september, i went into kitchens. i spent about an hour before my first kitchen class trying to get the bloody ball off my lipbar so i could take it out. the bloody thing just wouldn't shift. so i looked a right twat with a blue plaster accross my lower lip!!!! then a couple hours later i was sitting in it class when i heard this pop!! off popped the bloody ball :mad: i thought it was gone, but thankfully found it. ARGH, they have lives of their own. that is something that would make me a little nervous about a tongue piercing, the balls coming off and being swallowed. it seems pretty common
