Ah not much, house bound so not many options. Going to watch the football tomorrow, would love to head out for it but don't really want to hit a pub on the crutches.

    Evening All :)

^^@cyberwolf77: Just googled your book there as I'd never heard of it - Are you enjoying it? Have you read the others in the Secret Histories series?

Second time through them all actually. I quite like the way Simon Green writes

I must pick up a copy in the book-shop and have a gander through it. Have you read books by authors similar to his writing-style that you'd recommend?

I can also reccomend his Nightside series. Jeff Strand does some interesting stuff, as does Bentley Little

What kinda stuff you wirte starr?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,805 ✭✭✭jammstarr

I haven't actually written anything yet. I have however a load of idea written down. It's currently chaos that I'm adding to the whole time. I'll make sense of it all someday though.

I gotta a notebook or two full of half-formed ideas and nebulous concepts meself

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,534 ✭✭✭KKkitty

Jammstar and Wolfie do something about those ideas. Every author started from ideas so put pen to paper and get writing :)

I know I should, just gotta find the motivation to do something with them. Kinda thinking I may go with the one about a man who finds out he is the only one who can stop a monster by his death, or allow the beast to rampage across the planet for one lunar cycle

I want to write the next big thing like Harry Potter or Twilight and make millions. Then I'll become an even worse recluse but at least I'll be rich.

I gotta go work now. Good idea starr, just no sparkle vamps though 'kay thanks.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,534 ✭✭✭KKkitty

I'm also becoming a bit of a recluse jammstar. Do you wish you could change?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,698 ✭✭✭✭Princess Peach

Is there a recluse club? Can I join? :) All my college friends are mad busy this summer and haven't seen any of them in ages :( I did email a girl last night to ask her to hang out soon, hopefully she is free soon before I go mad!

People in my classes don't socialise at all. Its a professional course and most of them work, plus have family and friends living here.

I'm getting to the stage in life that I don't want to visit anyone. I see who I want to see and leave it at that. Since the ectopic pregnancy I'm a bit worse cos I'm afraid someone will ask me how I am and I'll get more upset about it :(
