There's one in the People's Park on Monday 2nd April at 11am. It's organised by the Waterford City Childcare Committee so I'm not sure if it just applies to childcare services and the families that use them.

Easter egg-stravaganza with Children’s Group Link
    By Mary Ellen Breen

THE Mad Hatter will be taking up residence in Tramore Road Business Park as Children’s Group Link bring the Easter Activity Village to Waterford.
With an Easter parade, egg hunt, face painting, a tea party and much more, there will be plenty to entertain the children with over the school break as Group Link brings their second entertainment offering following on from their hugely successful House of Horrors.
Ghouls and goblins have been banished this time around and children aged between three and ten can enjoy lots of Easter fun. On entry the children will enjoy facepainting and some cartoons as they await their tour around the house. Next they will make their way through the secret tunnel before dropping in on the Mad Hatter’s garden party. The Mad Hatter will treat the children to some storytelling as they will enjoy a drink with him before they make their way into the creative Easter workshops.
The children will take part in two fun workshops, making Easter hats and decorating their own foam Easter egg, which they can then bring home with them. Next stop is the barn where they will take part in an egg hunt and enjoy an Easter parade by all the Easter characters in the village, before learning the bunny hop dance.
Parents can join their children on the tour free of charge or they can sit back and relax in the café as the kids enjoy all the village has to offer.
The Easter Activity Village will be open from April 4 to April 8 and bookings can be made by calling (051) 855036 or 087 2510333, with discounts available for early bookings.
