Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The iPad 3 battery

    Hey guys ,

    Just got my iPad today and ran down the charge .... everything is going great except for the battery (kinda)

    Its taking an age to charge, plugged it in at about 6 and it's only at at 38 now, it's even dropped 2% just from light surfing while it's still plugged in. I do have the brightness at full , could that be the case

    Is this normal??

    Its not really a charging issue so to speak, its a much bigger battery, it will take longer to charge

    Plus you're using it whilst charging and you have brightness at 100%. :pac:

    Opened mine and it was 90% charged.....mind you still took an age to bring it to 100%

    Charged mine for the first time yesterday and it took 6 hours in total, ehich wasnt too bad considering the reports of a 8 hour charge time.

    I discovered what the problem was for me anyway, i was using an extension usb cable which was designed for a keyboard. must've only been letting a fraction of the power through.

    All in all the battery is quite good, was messing around for an hour on it and it went down 5% percent
