Any update on support acts and LC's time of arrival on stage?
I'd also like to know this

Thought I saw somewhere he was on stage at 7pm..... Tho I intend to be there quite a bit earlier to soak up the atmosphere again!!! :)

Folks, anyone know who's playing support? Also, can anyone remember who played support in 08 - was there myself but I can't for the life of me remember who it was?

I presume this gig is not a sell-out? My sister has a couple of tickets she can't use (I'm not trying to sell them here mods).
Just want to know if people think it is going to sell out.

The first 3 gigs already sold out. Going on the amount of ads on the radio, there are still tickets available for Saturday night.

Why is this thread still repeating itself!?

Does anybody read the forum before posting!

Leonard is expected to be onstage at 8 or shortly after, This is NOT official, it is speculation from fans who have seen him live before,
I would recommend contacting the concert promoter and asking for the offiial start time, (although it will probably be announced shortly before the concerts)

Damien Rice apparently played support in 2008, It's mentioned 1 page back!

Damien Rice supported in 2008, on the Saturday night at least.

    Enjoy the concert everybody!

    Saturday night support ?

My guess is that there is a support act. 4pm is extremely early for doors to open, even if LC comes on at 7 rather than 8.

Anyone know what part of O' Connell's street the 123 bus leaves for Kilmainham?

This sounds like the easiest way for me to get to the gig.

Luas red line goes to St James'; might have a closer stop, but St James is close enough anyway.

    Promoter POD LIVE on Facebook:

"Gates open at 16:30hrs. Note that music will begin at 19.15hrs and end at 22.45hrs on each night."

Nice interview with Leonard on 2fm this morning on the Dave Fanning show, it was an old one I'd heard before, good to hear it again.

Dave also said at the end the concert was set to start at 7:15 and end at around 10.45.

No cameras or recording equipment rule is silly. Do they plan on confiscating everyone's smartphones or what?

Just wondering does anyone know if this is an outdoor or indoor concert?
    Thanks in advance.....

We got the camera issue verified on FB and it is no professional cameras so once it is a compact you should be fine.

I'm going straight in after work, any recommendations for somewhere I can leave the car? I'm coming from Blanchardstown direction, I was thinking maybe Phoenix Park near the Conyngham Road entrance (can you still park along the side there)?

How about parking at Red Cow roundabout and getting LUAS in?

Look closer, the row numbers are beside the sections. SS is the second row in the upper half of A7.

Just got a message from MCD about the gig. It mentions the weather:
    • The concert takes place outdoors on the grounds (grass lawns) of the ROYAL HOSPITAL KILMAINHAM. Attendees should dress appropriately for the weather and are advised to bring weatherproof clothing.
Is the seating all on grass then? And all uncovered?
