Out of work due to illness/what am I entitled to?

So I was in an accident and will be out of work for several months. I rent a property. I wont get paid from work as I am only in that job a few months and the company sick pay scheme hasnt kicked in yet. Just wondering what I am entitled to claim for? Had a few grand in savings but between paying doctors, medication, a&e,…

Had a few grand in savings but between paying doctors, medication, a&e, rent, esb, phone etc the outgoings are killing the savings and nothing coming in. Any advice appreciated

1) Are you entitled to illness benefit?

2) Is there anyone to blame for the accident that you can claim from?
