I'm out here tonight, just asked a bouncer and he confirmed its on in small hall for week. Better atmosphere here anyhow. Stephen Hunt knocking about too.

Heading there for fri, Sat and Sun - whats your seats like. It looks quite small!!

Whats the story with Gary putting a dart in his glass of water??..

Ok, its not a dart. Just a flight..

How come they're in the small hall? Surely it's too small for the 1/4's onwards

    Bit strange, no?

Anyway i like Anderson, have no idea who i'd like to see win this.
I did have a bet on Anderson, most 180s.
    Neither playing all that well.

Great win by Dolan, seems to love Citywest!

Great stuff Dolan, Anderson huge **** up in the first leg of 2nd set really set him. Would be great to see O Connor beat Van Der Voort now to set up an All Irish QF

I was in citywest over the weekend. I'm sure they were setting up the main room so I imagine in will move in there later in the week

Great win for Dolan. Anderson seemed very unhappy at the end of the game, his heart doesn't seem to be in the game at the moment. It wouldn't surprise me if he packed in the PDC and went back to the BDO,don't think he's a happy chappy since the PDC gave him a ban recently.

Maybe they were setting it up for the world handball championships.

Anyone know why there's no entrance music for the players.

Anyone got 2 tickets going for Friday?

    Urrrrrrgh so close, great effort

Great game, to bad on that double 18.

You have to love the darts!!! I know i do.
    Should be a good week.

Anyone know why there's no entrance music for the players.

Tight schedule I'd guess - 8 games a night for the first round so 16 bits of intros/walkons/music/highfives/posing would add an extra 30+ minutes to the proceedings.

I'd say walk-ons will be back on Wednesday.

Apparently it is due to the lack of time, I guess.

EDIT: Oh, I missed the last post here... It says the same.

good performance from phil, averaging around 100. i see he was wearing a pink ribbon in support of the missing girl from wales as well. delighted to see brendan get through against anderson. anderson seems to have gone of the boil lately although he has had a tough time away from the oche with his brother passing away

that explains it !!! i thought from watching it last night the venue seemed different, smaller etc. :)

I'm delighted it's back to the smaller venue, it has a much better atmosphere, much easier to get a drink and the views are better. I didn't like the bigger venue at all and I thought it was too big. The "smaller" venue still holds 2000 odd people so it's hardly small.

Delighted Dolan got through, he is really starting to prove himself on the TV now. Willie was unlucky, he had his dart at D18 to win it but it wasn't to be.

    Todays schedule of play:
    Steve Beaton v Andy Smith
    Andy Hamilton v Mark Webster
Michael van Gerwen v Colin Lloyd
    Wes Newton v Ronnie Baxter
    James Wade v Colin Osborne
    Adrian Lewis v Richie Burnett
Raymond van Barneveld v Ian White
    Michael Mansell v Paul Nicholson

2000? Really? On TV it looked like a few hundred at most. Where was everyone else?
The same few Mario brothers and middle aged leprechaun women were shown all night on TV
