Just thought I'd start a thread about this. I've noticed tickets going on sale at really bad times. For Example Tom Petty tickets going on sale a week before Xmas. And then this week Van Morrison, Paul Simon and Leonard Cohen all going on sale in the space of two days. Most people who would go to a single one of the three would happily go to two of them, if not all three if they went on sale at times further apart. You'd think the promoters etc. would have a bit more cop on than that?

    yeah, seems pretty mad alright.

Paul Simon, Van Morrison and Leonard Cohen would, IMO, have the same target audience.

It's a pain in the hole when a gig is announced on the monday and they say Tickets will go on sale on The thurs/Fri, there's 2 of us and sometimes we've just not got 100/150 quid spare that week

Completely agree, it's been a bit of a mess lately with the announcements.
