Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lending a bike

Hey guys, is it possible to lend a friend a motorbike by getting them insured as a named driver?

He's got a full licence (A), he'll be riding it for a couple of months to get a job and such. Since he's just back in ireland with no car or bike.
I'm aware of risks, such as wear and tear, mileage etc, and since he's a really good friend, he won't screw me over if he damages the thing.

Just wondering if there any legal pitfalls or things i should watch out for.

The bike will be kept between two different addresses during that time and he'll be using it mostly as i can't drive at the moment for medical reasons.

As long as he's on the policy and has a full up to date licence it should be fine.
