Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Roberts Stream 83i DAB Radio

    Hey Folks,

    Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this but...... what sort of DAB signal do we have in Ireland- is it DAB+? I was thinking about getting a Roberts Stream 83i radio but I'm not sure if it'd work properly here.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    hi, I Have one of the above radios, DAB is available around Dublin, but cannot be received outside Dublin well, maybe in cities. The internet radio is the thing to use if you have a Wi-Fi facility.

    Well I was kinda knew we had DAB+ but I was hoping someone might have been able to confirm that the 83i picked it up. At the time of asking I wasn't sure if it had a DAB+ receiver as the Roberts website doesn't mention it nor does the box from the actual radio. As it happens it does....... you think they'd actually mention this somewhere!

    I am about to buy this same model. You say you definitely find that it does pick up DAB+ as well as DAB ?

    Have you updated the firmware to enable the phone app remote control ? and does it work on batteries ?

    I bought it today :-) I couldn't resist the great price in Peats' Sale. The software upgrade was a doddle and then I installed the iPhone app and away I went. Brilliant.
    It doesn't have a battery :( which is a disappointment but I'll live.... :rolleyes:
