Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ladies, any recommendations for a foundation that stays put? The minute the weather gets any way warm, I just find it just seems to slip off me! Looked in the mirror this evening and I was like a patchwork quilt! :o
Used to wear Revlon Colourstay years ago and found it good, but haven't seen it in recent times, but I suppose it's still around.... Also, I don't want something that's too expensive - around the €20 mark say..... Ideas, please? :)

I wear Revlon Colourstay and tbh, it's brilliant for staying on. I applied mine at 7.30 this morning and I'm still wearing it. It's pretty much perfect and didn't feel icky today in the heat, and I spent the whole day studying in a very humid library!:P

I get mine in Boots, it's around 17 euro.:)

Thanks meehan! So, it IS still on the go! Chemists here in town don't stock Revlon, so I guess a trip in to the city is called for!! :D

Get a blotting powder. That helps it stay on, especially in hot weather! MAC do a good one. :)

I found colorstay awful. I'm very oily! For me its Estee Lauder Doublewear with Clinique Super Double Powder dusted on top. Hate looking shiny/sweaty!

Use All Nighter Spray to set your makeup, it will hold it and stop it slipping, its a setting spray.

I also find Make Up For Ever HD powder to be excellent at keeping your makeup in place and stopping shine!

Also always use a good primer!

I live in a very hot and humid part of the US and I tend to grab a tinted moisturizer during the summer months.

Mineral foundation is ideal for the heat. It's powder so it won't melt. Bare minerals is very little more than €20 if you buy the foundation on its own without the brushes. There's a loreal mineral foundation too for around €20 and No7 do one too I think.

Rimmel 25hour lasting foundation is brilliant in my opinion, I put moisturiser on underneath, and a powder on over it. The foundation is under a tenner and I find any compact powder works well with it. Also love the maybeline dream matte mousse, worth a try!

Have you triend a primer as well OP? I use the Rimmel one and find it quite good. I would only have to use it say on nights out etc though, but it is pretty good and only about €6.
