Going to see Dave McSavage this week but was never in this place before - how early should someone be for a gig here? What's the story with seating (tickets say standing!) and can you settle in and have a few pints if you arrive too early?!
    :)

There is normally not any real rush to get in - people normally trickle into the gigs there, if you get there early you are guarenteed a seat, however - a lot of the time, people would have pints in the normal bar first, before the warehouse opens (Usually about 20 mins before the gig actually starts, which often times is later then what is advertised, due to soundchecks etc.) atleast thats my experience anyway from shooting in there and the few gigs I've been to inside.

Whatever time the doors say it is always at least an hour before anything starts or any suppost might start

What time is doors down for?

Thers is 2 pubs next to dolans or the clarion hotel across the road has a nice deck with the good weather for pre gig pints

I think the last line of your post where you give out about some perceived injustice or wrong doing seems to have been deleted? :pac:

For a comedy gig, they won't let you into the warehouse until about 20-30 minutes before the support act starts so if you get there early you can drink in the main bar.

Seats are first come first served but usually the front row is the last to fill up so even if you were late, you'd get a good seat.

There are also seats upstairs along the wrap-around balcony.
