    If I was making a salad with tinned salmon and your other ingredients, I would have no problem in chopping the onion and the green pepper, and mixing them, with the aid of the olive oil, into the salmon.

    I think I would then serve that on top of the spinach leaves, rather than adding the spinach to the salad.

    Some lemon juice would probably help the salad.

    It wouldn't be a disaster, it would be palatable, but it's not going to set the culinary world on fire.

    Tinned salmon looks better if you take a little time to remove any obvious backbone and skin.
