I just noticed that the RAM is PC1600 but the motherboard says it only supports 1333 MHz. Does this make any sort of difference? Ithe PC has be up and running fine for over a year now. Does it just mean the RAM will only work up to 1333 MHz so I am missing out on that extra 267 MHz?

Its possible that its running at 1333 by default, but its pretty easy to set it to 1600. Just go into the BIOS and change the multiplier on the RAM. You won't notice any difference anyway, as the performance increase is tiny.
