Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bought an old Nokia off eBay, didn't realise it was locked to Vodafone.

Will I have to pay to get it unlocked?

Yes. Unlocking shop or the interweb.

I know about these, but what if I contacted Vodafone?

It seems odd that Trading Standards haven't forced them to give unlock codes out for free. Absurd that they are allowed to lock a phone they do not manufacture, when no contract is involved.

They can only provide the unlocking code to the registered owner - anything else would be a breach of the Data Protection Act.

Trading Standards is an English statutory body. The equivalent here would be the NCA.

    Woops thought I'd said. It's a 6300.
