Looking at a new bed in Argos, but find Argos dear(ish).

Anyway I can get Ikea stuff down to Kerry without having to visit the Pale.?

We're not suffering, only complaining 😞

Sadly you can't shop online and have items delivered.

However I think this chap I've seen on boards on the past will shop and deliver to you...not sure if he'll deliver to Kerry though but worth a look

Check out http://www.beds.ie - have used them in the past, and for an extra €40, they'll take your old bed away :D

The say that the delivery itself is free, though, once you spend X amount (think said amount is €100). It was for me.

IKEA's planning permission included a clause which stipulated that they had to set up a delivery service. They offer delivery services in other countries. Why not write to Fingal Co Co and complain about the lack of enforcement of this provision.

They have a delivery service, but you must order in-store to avail of it

Sneaky...must check that wording. Strange that other countries offer online shopping.

    Here's the ABP wording.
Within one year of the proposed development commencing trading, an e-commerce/home shopping service (which includes home delivery),
    shall be introduced.

Page 8 of the ABP Order - http://www.pleanala.ie/documents/orders/220/D220256.pdf

I would not describe going to the store as a "e-commerce/home shopping service".

So, again - complain to Fingal that the planning condition has not be satisfied.
