Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Folks,
I knocked a full pint of Guinness over a pair of white canvas runners on Paddy’s day.

    Boo urns!

Anyhoo, how do I get these wearable again.

I’m not looking for Joe Jackson’s door step challenge white:

    Just decent to wear out.

    Thanks in advance Folks.

I would hand wash them first to remove the heavy stains, they should come out. Don't use any bleach.
Then stick them in the washing machine at a low heat cycle and that should do the job.

this sounds VERY weird but worked a charm on my white keds! Get baking soda and mix it with 7up to create a paste, rub it onto slightly damped runner and leave for a while then scrub it with a hand scrub! I remember finding it online years ago and feeling like a loola but really does work! I find washing maschines make them go yellow and fall to pieces

after you wash them using the advice above, dry them indoors. Sunlight can turn them yellow for some reason
