Hanging up on customers!

I'm trying to ring that http://www1.hardwareversand.de/idxcontact.jsp company. I have the number: 00491805711117

Every time I ring I get the same girl. First time I said, "English?" she says "nine" and then starts rambling on and hangs up.

So I ring again and I say, "Ich verstehe nicht. Kann ich mit jemandem reden, der Englisch spricht?" (Google translate ftw) and once again she rambles on and then hangs up.

Seriously, wtf is this ****!

She is telling you that she does not speak English. ("Nein" means "No")

Maybe fire off an email to them explaining what you're after.

Edit: it's nein as opposed to nine! Lol.

In short she's saying "no" (nein) that she can't speak English, going on a ramble and hanging up, while I find it odd that she wouldn't try to put you through to someone who can speak English, she is presumably hanging up since if you can't speak to each other there's little point continuing the phone-call.

I wouldn't necessarily hold it against the company anyway since every company will have one or two iffy support staff, you're unfortunately just getting put through to the same one over and over. Fingers crossed you'll get through to someone who can speak English, or has the cop-on to pass you on to someone who can, eventually.

Maybe someone might be able to help you with your problem here. Is it the payment details issue??

I called them this morning and spoke with a guy. Had no problems at all and he spoke English. Maybe you've just been unlucky?
