ROG took his eye off the ball after a great turnover. Shít

Micko was ridiculously offside for that turnover and blocked the first Leinster man from getting to the ruck

    D'Arcy off, McFadden on.

That's a shame Darcy is injured. He's been prominent so far. Some good carries and strong in defence.

Finally Owens seeing that Horan is straight down

Ross went first there - Owens really is making it up

  • Horan has got to be binned soon

Another penalty at the scrum, still no card.

I agree, they have been ridiculous, hardly the refs fault. He seems to be reffing it a bit randomly, yes....but I wouldn't be like to be making those calls.

And how exactly is the Irish scrum supposed to improve if it can't even be done at provincial level.

Ridiculous to call for uncontested scrums because there are two front rows that can't scrummage.

It is Owens fault. They know that you are free to do whatever they want on their own put in because he only ever penalises the defensive team.

With Darcy off, I wonder will BOD last the full match or will Sexton/Madigan have to go to 12?

    Edit: Never mind, Darcy's back.

  • Ugh another scrum

I don't disagree with what you're saying but I just want to see a good game of running rugby right now

Even at this stage, Munster can't fall too far behind. If they go more than 6 behind, I don't think they'll catch them.

Varley unlucky to get done there. Right call but you'd normally get away with that.

This game is no better than the reverse fixture back in November. So many errors, no invention and awful officiating.

Ok, fair enough...but still ridiculous to suggest we go uncontested...Owens does need to sort it out...

  • Jesus if I was a Munster fan I'd be livid.

    Hate having the ball?

Think the happiest team going into the break is ulster

Jennings is having a good game IMO. Perfect player for the way the game is unfolding at the moment.

Agreed. We'll have to wait and see if last final warning was the final warning and will he give a yellow.

It would look like after ROG knocked it on and Sexton ran into him, Sexton may have made a jibe and referred to the interviews ROG did.

However, will Ulster be able to hang on? They will have to watch another 40 minutes of error strewn, srcumfúck rugby....

I'm feeling very confident for next week :) is Owens letting Munster away with murder at the breakdown? A lot of hands on deck.

    I'm enjoying it.

There are errors because these are by far the best two defenses in the competition. They're putting massive pressure on each other. That's why these games are scheduled when they are.

Leinster need a little more structure out wide but are good everywhere else. Thorn and Jennings have been superb. So much work done. Half backs are managing possession well, hard to do in Thomond. ODriscoll and in particular DArcy are getting up to their usual divelry which is great to see.

Munster need to keep possession. They're not going through the phases and they're wasting what little possession they have. Forwards need to be more organised in possession as well.

Hook in with another Leinster tirade about the back 3.

Wow - Daire got a fair amount of sun this week anyway. This is awful stuff, the most remarkable thing is his tan.

It wasn't the greatest spectacle but I still quite enjoyed it tbh (bar the scrums). Any close game with that amount of intensity that has a team that you care about playing will be reasonably enjoyable to watch. Stakes are high, especially for Munster after Ospreys BP win.

Kearney and Fitzgerald created a try on their own before the TJ incorrectly called it back!

Only issue they've had so far was Kearneys kick to touch which he had to do off his weak foot.
