Hi, the speakers in my led tv arent the best so am looking at buying a soundbar. I don't want to spend that much on one. between €100-€250 if possible?

What soundbars do ye have in this price range?

I have found a few soundbars on amazon and pixmania,

    philips hts3111 for €160
    samsung hw e-350 for €199.

Any help/advice would be great also.

    Thanks

Thats the curse of the LED TV - slim and beautiful, but they mainly sound awful!

We have a couple of excellent options on the affordable sound bar front:

    Sharp HTSB250 - £99.95 / €124.99

This is a really slim one box solution which will really boost the audio from your TV.

    Sharp HTSB400

Next up is the HTSB400 at £109.95 / €136.99 - now reduced again the 400 really is a step up - with an 8 driver arrangement, including a dedicated centre speaker it sounds excellent and it uses your existing TV remote to control volume

    However....

I know it busts the budget a tad but you should have a look at the excellent Q Acoustics Q-TV2 which is not exactly a sound bar but does the same job, more discretly and in some cases it also sounds better!

    mounting-options.htm

It mounts behind your TV and you can even wall mount your TV to it if required and it really does sound tanfastic  (on the basis of course that pretty much ANY separates system will of course sound WAAAAAYYY better)

    It's currently £269.95 / €329.99

It's of course my duty as a hifi nutter to emphasise that pretty much ANy AV system including a seperate amp and speakers is going to put all these bars and QTV's to shame - have you considered the Yamaha YHT196 which is amazing value for a (proper) receiver and 5.1 speaker pack at just £179.95 / €224.99??

Keep us posted and thanks for thinking of us..
