I always try see what he is doing in the reflection of the shiny mirror like bit of the light shining in my mouth,the stupid assistant always seems to be putting their sucker thing in the way though. . . .

The last major work i had done was a wisdom tooth extraction....when i saw him pick up the scalpel i said fcuk this, closed my eyes and prayed for it to be over. Didnt hurt at all in the end

mine are stuck down with tape :pac: -due to disability am given a general anaesthetic for all regular and non regular dental work.

surprised no boards members are using to those glasses that have tv built into them, they are used in a few places over,possibly only private places.

The last time I was at my dentist she had just got a lcd installed just in front of the head light. So its worth your while not having your eyes closed, get to see all the soothing animated fishes swimming by.

She does have a sadistic side though so I've wondered what other videos she puts on the screen.

Yep. I was cool as a cucumber the last time; just closed my eyes and let her do whatever she had to do. I'd rather not see it.

I always look at their glasses to see if I can see my teeth in the reflection. Got a sedative when I got my wisdom teeth out and just laughed the whole way through the drilling:p
