whats the deal with some selfish ignorant useless feckers that always reserve seats for themselves mates etc in the study hall in the arts block.

I've go in there at 8 0 clock and the laptop section is already filled, and 95% no one is there sitting down.

I cant understand this selfish behavior.

*cue Banquo removing all these laptops*

I get there at 7.30am and it's only about a third full. It's worth the half hour not in bed to be sure you'll get a seat. My laptop is banjaxed and doesn't hold a charge any longer so I have to have it plugged in to use it. Towards exam week I'll need to get in there before 7am to get a seat if it's anything like christmas :(

I always move their laptops against the wall and if they come back I'll move. Last time I was there for over an hour and the person never showed up

Not sure if it was just a rumour, but is it true there is a policy coming into force that if you leave your property unattended for longer than a set amount of time (I think 40 mins, could be wrong) that it will be taken away and brought to lost and found?

If they're gone for more than half an hour, I'd just take their laptop and put it into lost and found. People are conscious of every minute while studying, especially final year students. No place for that behaviour tbh.

Nearly as bad as those who think it is perfectly acceptable to charge their phone in the library and take up another socket with their laptop.

Does anyone know someone who has had their laptop stolen from the library or are those signs an attempt to stop people leaving their laptops plugged in while they go off an have lunch, etc?

    Long time no post!

I was just wondering if anyone knows what the craic is with the gym during the exams? I know the sports halls are used as exam centres but is the gym itself still open?

License to Ill is such an amazing album.

Kinda wish I was still in college so I could reference him in one of my exams. Throw a quote in here or there. I managed to stick a Biggie Smalls quote into an exam in 2nd year, and then in 3rd year I compared the Irish government to Carlos Tevez. It'd be my way of paying tribute to everything that MCA did for music.

    Exams are great crack.

Parts A, B, C and D of his memoirs are going to be released for free on the internet. You gotta fight for your right to part E.

I suspect there's something more to this question than meets the eye.

I can haz general discussion has been kinda boring lately, so I thought I could start up a bit of chat through something mind-bogglingly banal. That and I thought it was a pretty funny sentence. Dunno really.

No, Keenan put the screw in the tuna. Kel loves orange soda :pac:

I think you'll find it was Kel who dropped the screw in the tuna.
