Weird problem with Kindle

Any help much appreciated. Normally when you exit out of an article/book (and return to the home screen) that article/book is still sitting there among the reading list. But lately, when I do it, the article vanishes--it seems to get tossed to the back of the queue somewhere. To find it again I have to do a search.…

Any help much appreciated. Normally when you exit out of an article/book (and return to the home screen) that article/book is still sitting there among the reading list.

But lately, when I do it, the article vanishes--it seems to get tossed to the back of the queue somewhere. To find it again I have to do a search. Irritating.

I've chosen to order them "most recent first", and I'm pretty sure I haven't fiddled with the options. Just a weird glitch, or is it fixable?

Did you try a reboot of the kindle?

Yeah, I rebooted it a couple of times. No luck.
