Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    just wondering will there be so much demand for dairy stock 2015 considering most fellas i know have plenty and are planning to bull alot to dairy ai .i know it depends alot on the price of milk but not that sure there will be alot of fellas looking to buy stock,most seem to be breeding their own

    i will not be buying in stock... too much disease risk.. been there done that, will just make do with what i have.. better the devil you know than the one you dont from my experience

    If you want to expand you need all your cows in calf to dairy breeds to maintain a compact calving pattern. Most herds cull 20% and you will have empty heifers too. Unless your fond of late calvers, roll overs and career breakers of course.
