    Hi Wexfordonians,

Would you have any recommendations for things to do with two 12 year old kids. We're here until Friday. We were shopping on Saturday, and went to the Funfair at the racecourse yesterday (waste of money).

We're near Curracloe, but have car.

We were looking at Blackwater Open Farm (because it's close by) and Johnstown Castle, but think the kids might be a bit old for the farm, and not interested in an agriculture museum! We'll try to get to the Famine Ship one of the days.

Any other things we should do?

P.S. This is a very beautiful county!

The Dunbrody famine ship is great.

You must also go to the Hook Lighthouse and do the tour its very good. You can get a discounted ticket when you buy a ticket for the Dunbrody. Both tours can be done easily in one day.

Also check out The Irish National Heritage Park at Ferrycarrig. Haven't been there for yonks but its meant to be great and good for 12 year olds.

Omniplex cinema - might be some good flicks on.

    Beaches are free.

You could combine Johnstown Castle with a spin down to Kilmore Quay. Don't discount the ag museum. Its meant to be very good and not just for farmers. Real
nice cafe in beside the ag museum. Nice cakes !!

    Enjoy.

Swimming pool in Ferybank beside bridge on way into Wexford town is good, JFK park is good on a fine day near New Ross great new playground there this year and Leisure max has a bowling alley near McDonalds on way out of Wexford to Rosslare.
