remote from memup fx tv media player interfears with LG TV

    Hi All,
    hoping that someone can provide me with an easy fix for what has become an annoying situation. i recently purchased a new Memup mediadisk FX TV HD series to replace my previous memup.

    However, the remote control from the new mediaplayer interfears with my TV so for example if i select volume down on the media player remote it changes the sleep timer setting on the LG TV.

    there are other examples of this, but is getting to be really frustrating and any help would be really appreciated as the memup website is terrible.
