Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hey so my mam is gone away for 4 days and I want to prove to her that I'm mature and beat the previous electricity bill when she's here does anyone have any tips ?

    So you want to prove you're mature by running up a huge electricity bill. How about doing something really mature like keeping the house tidy while she is away and not burning the place down.

    Its school holiday times no traffic on the roads but boards.ie becomes infested ; )

    That doesn't have storage heaters on it, they eat up power. I don't know exactly how much though but nearly as much as an immersion if my parents were to be believed....
