can anyone recommend a heater ?

    A friend has a boiler problem and will be without gas for a few days. can anyone recommend a heater such as an oil filled or even oil free rad ? What would be cheapest on power and good for heat

    There's no such thing as 'cheapest on power and good on heat' with electric heaters, what you consume in juice you get as heat.

    Infrared heaters give the impression of providing more heat as the energy is radiated rather than convected, it also heats people rather than the room.
