How'd english (Higher level) go for everyone? I didn't think it was too bad, I thought that the reading comprehension was a bit tough (the future development of journalism) but I had quite a lot to say about it and I'm really proud of my personal writing essay. The Shakespearean drama was impossible to me, I went with other drama. The questions on both extracts were kind of stupid, I feel they should have thought them out a bit better.

I really hate english and it's one of my least favorite subjects, but I gotta say, I was pretty happy with how it went today especially Paper 1. In Paper 2 I did a bit worse (as always) but in general Im hoping to get a decent grade. Usually I get Bs. Maybe I might get an A this time? I never got my mock result back from English despite asking for it several times. I did pretty bad in it though, for the JC obviously I concentrated much more and studied a lot for it. I used a lot more quotes in Paper 2 and tried to write in an interesting way. In Paper 1 I quoted a lot as well (personal quotes relevant to the topic, especially in Personal Writing) Maybe that'll help improve my grade? Dunno I'm just glad it's over, it was extremely exhausting!!

Anyways, how'd it go for you? Again, in general I'm happy with how it went for me. Some tough questions but I think I managed them well!

Oh I remember a time when I thought it was all going to change.
Okay, so I didn't study for my Junior Cert, doesn't really matter anyway, I can work hard for my Leaving Cert.
How wrong I was.
I'm no different to the person I was before.
Lads, get into a good work ethic(as I'm sure many of ye already have) and stick to it, the everything will fall into place plans, yeah they don't work very well.

Are you doing transition year or 5th year next year and why ? If going to 5th year what subjects?

Im doing 5th year because in our school I feel ty is a waste of time. Lots of dossing and a year out of study. Also i prefer learning tbh. Whats ty like in your school? Next year im doing physics biology chemistry and applied maths. German also.

Very happy with them, sure I'll see in September! History what I had studied and knew well came up sparingly but sure no pint in crying now

I'm off to Spain in a week teaching Spaniards English, YURT!! I NEED sun! Otherwise doing feck all, must start searching for good work experience. Where'd you go?

Hahah really? thats awesome Spanish people are lovely :') Im friends with looadss of spanish students :L

I did w/e in the natural history museum, Amgen (a pharmaceutical research place), the Science Gallery in TCD and in a primary school..

(Im aware the last one is **** compared to the rest XD)
