Well he was born in South Africa but he played for Zimbabwe but not sure if the question refers to their country of birth or national team.

Lad from Kenya with Inter Milan 2010? Anyone know his name?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

    Goran Pandev (Inter Milan)-Macedonia?
Yup, that Inter team had a few odd nationalities.

McDonald Maringa (sp?) was on that team and he is Kenyan

Handy lad on FM as well :P

(Will turn out that some random United Player was from there now :P )

Also, Grobblar was from Zimbabwe or Rhodisia as it was called at the time. No clue if thats right or wrong.

Jankauskas is right. Santa Cruz isn't because a man named Juan Aguero won a medal for Real Madrid in 1966.

National team they've been capped for.
considering red star belgrade won it in 91 i doubt he's the only one.

Their national team was Yugoslavia whereas Pandev is the only one to have won it and been capped by Macedonia.
    Columbia - Cordoba?

    Yep, correct.
Eric Gerets PSV and Belgium in 1987?

    Spot on as well.

4 left at the moment from what I can tell. They are quite difficult. 2 won it within the last 10 years.

1 from the 60's and the other from the 80's.

Ridiculous comparison considering yugoslavia existed until 1992 meaning that the serbians and macedonians were all from the same country at the time, and I'm sure if you check the team from 1991, that their will be some macedonians :)

edit - looked it up, both Pancev and Najdoski won the CL with RSB and were capped by macedonia.

I would only have known 4 at most and 2 of those were maybe tough ones..

Gerets of Belgium was one because the fooker cost Ireland place in WC in 1982..

He was captain of PSV too.

anyway here one more from me

Who is the only player to score a hat-trick in the Premiership, Championship, League 1, League 2, (or the divisions under their previous names), the League Cup, the FA Cup and for his country?
